The Royal Mint coin set includes three different Mr Men and Little Miss coins to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the world-famous children’s books in 1971.

Mr Men Coins Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Mr Men Books
The Royal Mint has released three Mr Men Little Miss coins to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Roger Hargreaves’s release of the world-famous children’s books in 1971. The three-coin collection features Mr Happy, Little Miss Sunshine, and Mr Strong with Little Miss Giggles.

Mr. Strong & Little Miss Giggles Coins were released on the 15th March 2021.
Who are the Mr. Men?
Mr. Men is a series of children’s books by English author Roger Hargreaves commencing in 1971.
From 1981, an accompanying series of Little Miss books by the same author but with female characters was published.
After Hargreaves’s death in 1988, his son Adam Hargreaves began writing and illustrating new Mr. Men and Little Miss stories like Mr. Cool, Mr. Rude, Mr. Good, Little Miss Scary, Little Miss Bad, and Little Miss Whoops.
