The Royal Mint announced on the 7th January 2026, the pending release of a new Concorde 50p coin.

Get your passports and boarding passes ready, as a new coin celebrating Concorde will be released on 13th January 2026.

Marking 50 years since Concorde’s first commercial flight, the coin will feature a supersonic design that depicts the iconic aircraft traversing the globe.

This is one flight that both coin collectors and aviation enthusiasts simply cannot miss!

This will be a collectible coin only and not entering UK coin circulation.

For the obverse impression Our effigy with the inscription "· CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 50 PENCE ·" and the date of the year, and for the reverse a depiction of two Concorde aircraft upon a map accompanied by the inscriptions "CONCORDE" and "21 JANUARY 1976".
